This is a Civil Defense message for Monday 07-21-2025 at 16:08:08.
The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Statement for Hawaii Island through Thursday afternoon.
Peak monthly high tides combined with water levels that are running higher than normal may lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is expected around the peak high tide each afternoon. If you live near the shoreline, please avoid driving through flooded roadways. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to higher ground. Secure canoes and watercraft stowed on beaches.
You will be informed should conditions change.
